WebChart is running as an assistant of performance monitor, business monitor in my working company, it plays a very important role now, as may people are watching the WebChart pages.
I get the database server's one minute load value and the active session count every 10 seconds, and insert the data into a tool databae, then I display this two values in chart with WebChart.
In a complex system, we will use messages to communicate between different sub-systems. The messages should be processed as soon as possible, if something goes wrong, the unprocessed messages will increase very quickly. So I get the unprocessed messages summary information every 5 minutes, and load them into the tool database, and dispaly it in chart with WebChart.
These are just two charts of all the charts I developed on WebChart platform. With WebChart, I can focus on how to collect the data, and display the data in different chart is just piece of cake.
